Weapons and Warframes
Warframes
Warframes can be acquired in a multitude of different ways. However, the most common way is by purchasing the blueprint (credits) in the market and farming the bosses on different planets. Warframes can also be acquired by different quests. You can also purchase a Warframe pre-built in the Market with an Orokin Reactor pre-installed along with a Warframe slot. Some Warframes you can get the parts from doing specific mission types as a reward (such as Fissures). There are also a few exclusive Warframes that can only be obtained through clan research. One Warframe can only be obtained through alerts.
When you start the game, you start with 50 plat that is not tradeable. I would highly recommend to any new player, that you purchase one or two Warframe slots. They cost 20 plat each and will come in handy later.

Weapons
Weapons can be purchased through the market from different blueprints (credits) or pre-built with platinum with an orokin catalyst installed. There are several weapons that are clan exclusive, so it is highly recommended that you either start or join a clan. There are special types of weapons known as wraiths where you can get the parts for them from invasions. Weapons can also be obtained from alerts.
