Sentinels
Sentinels are hovering companions that follow their Tenno masters around and assist in various ways, dependent on the precepts used to program them. It is possible to program sentinels with precepts, or skill mods, that can turn a sentinel into an attack drone or a support drone. Sentinels can also be equipped with their own unique stat-increasing mods, similar to Warframe mods. Each sentinel comes with its own unique weapon. Sentinel blueprints can be purchased through the market. Taxon's blueprint is a reward for completing the Venus junction.
Kubrows
To acquire a Kubrow for the first time, a player must complete the first part of the Howl of the Kubrow Quest, which provides the segment required to repair the Incubator equipment within the Landing Craft's Orbiter compartment. Once the player is able to meet the necessary requirements to begin incubation, the player is offered a choice between a Random incubation or the use of Genetic Code Templates. When the incubation process completes, either naturally or by rushing, the player will be able to name their new Kubrow. Once named, the Kubrow will stay in puppy form as long as players do not manually mature it. In order to take it out on missions, players have to manually mature it in the incubator. Once matured, the Kubrow will begin to experience daily Genetic Stability and Loyalty degradation. There are several different breeds of Kubrow: Huras, Raksa, Sahasa, Sunika, and Chesa. Each different breed is different from the other - they all have their own specialty. For example, The Chesa Kubrow can retrieve plant extract with no scanners in the player's gear wheel. If the player is infected with the Helminth Virus, they can create a Helminth Charger by draining their cyst into a Kubrow egg.
Your Pet's Health
As your pet grows day to day, it will need to be taken care of. How you can take care of your pet is by giving them DNA Stabilizers. The DNA Stabilizer is an item used to stop a cloned Kubrow's or Kavat's DNA from degrading, restoring 40% of a pet's genetic stability per use. DNA Stabilizers can be bought from the Market in the Companions section, and cost 75,000 credits for a pack of six stabilizers. It is a great investment if you want to keep your companion from kicking the bucket. If you have the Incubator Upgrade Segment, the pet's Genetic Stability will degrade by 5% every 24 hours instead. Thus, a pack of six stabilizers can last for 48 days. Also destabilized pets will be automatically put into stasis before they die.
Kavats
Kavats are a cat-like companion with only two breeds at the moment. First off, we have the Adarza Kavat which grants an increased critical chance to all nearby Tenno for a short duration and occasionally reflect and amplify damage back to an enemy. Second off, we have the Smeeta Kavat which allows the Kavat to become invisible while a decoy kavat draws fire by running toward the enemy. The Kavat can also bestow the player with a good fortune throughout the mission. The player can obtain a Kavat by breeding them with their Orbiter's Incubator, which must first be upgraded with a Kavat Incubator Upgrade Segment. This Upgrade Segment may be purchased from the market for 175 plat or crafted from its corresponding blueprint which must be researched and purchased in the Dojo or dropped by Hyekka Masters. The breeding process requires ten (10) Kavat Genetic Codes and an Incubator Power Core. Genetic codes are obtained by scanning wild Kavats with a Codex Scanner. The same restrictions for breeding new pets apply to the Kavat as well: the player cannot have an existing active companion and there must be a free Stasis Pod available for use. Just like Kubrows, you must take care of them. DNA Stabilizers are a must!
